Image Service enables the customer ( Cloud-Administrators / BU-Administrators ) to upload the (ISO) images to the ZeroStack platform without being part of the VPN (network where the ZeroStack cluster is deployed) using Port forwarding/port redirection from a device in the Public IP space (Customer Firewall) to the Private ZeroStack cloud services IP.
The customer can configure endpoint over either HTTP or HTTPS, by selecting the Protocol.
The administrator can either choose to use a Public IP or an FQDN.
Note: For secure access (/HTTPS), SSL certificates need to be added to the FireWall.
The customer's Image service connection requests are forwarded/redirected to the IP Address / FQDN ( and optional Port ) configured.
A port forwarding is configured in the VPN Gateway/firewall to forward the request to the Image service.
Port forwarding/Port redirection configuration to be done in the VPN Gateway/Firewall as below
Public IP: Port <====> Local Cloud Services IP:25000
Local Cloud Services IP can be identified from infrastructure -> Network Page as shown below.
